One of the more confusing changes in the "fixed" release of Purple Quest was the removal of the Dark Champion. Even though an official statement was never given, some speculate that it may have been linked to "demonic propaganda." Many disagree with this sentiment, however, as the Dark King himself was seemingly unchanged in this newer version.
