so, ended up finding an AMAZING tutorial by Crashsune Academy, cannot recommend enough for someone trying to do what Im trying to do. Super beginner friendly, just understand some viewport stuff but kb shortcuts are covered. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Use9T2IX1XE
by the way, if any1 has tips for making low poly ps1 style models for a noob, it would be really appreciated. right now Im using a cube and shaping it with the mirror tool, but I get the feeling theres a better way. looking online wasnt super helpful lol
