Antonio Dalton's son mysteriously died unexpectedly . No body was ever found. He was the owner at the time. With no inheritance, the pizzeria had no owner, so it filed for bankruptcy.

Eventually, more and more people came to it, and business was booming. There were people coming from as far as Bishop, CA going there. It was widely recognized as the best diner in California.
