He is William Aftons youngest son, terrified of animatronics.
In 1983 his older brother shoved his head into Fredbear’s mouth as a prank. The jaw crushed his head, causing the infamous "Bite of '83."
He died in the hospital, leaving his spirit to haunt
Mangle started as Toy Foxy, a shiny new attraction.
But toddlers in Kid’s Cove constantly tore the robot apart. Tired of fixing it, the staff gave up. They left it as a "take-apart" toy and called it "The Mangle.
Frustrated mangle became Evil
