My favorite world would be a mix of "Shooting" with "Open World" with some "Hand-to-Hand Combat" with a dash of "Puzzles" and seasoned with "Collectible/Usable Items". 
I haven't played any pet games...
I'm not sure if "Untitled Goose Game" counts, or if the "Pets" expansion pack for The Sims 3 does.
