The wait is almost over!
(apologies to anyone seeing this more than once on their timelines, we just want to make sure as many people know about this update as possible)
We've decided to switch game engines for the rest of the game. We'll be using RPG Maker MV. Now, we've got some issues to work out before we can release Chapter 1 in that engine, but we wanted to let you know. It'll make the game look so much better!
From a technical standpoint, Chapter 2 is proving more difficult than Chapter 1. However, asset wise, it is unlikely to be anywhere near as difficult to get the art and music. Thus, the wait period is likely to be a bit shorter.
