Block! When a character guards, they can block attacks meant for other characters!

Viola's "Blowbeat" spell damages all enemies on the field! Useful, even if it hurts to listen to.

Fenrys' Lupine Slash deals a lot of damage to a single target! This Wood spell deals double damage against Water type enemies.

Enemies and spells are aligned to one of nine elements. Certain elements will deal double damage to another, while resisting damage from that type.

Flame beats Wood, that's obvious. But Viola also has Water, Light, Dark, Time, Sky, Stone and Ice.

Each character has a number of spells with different elements. Some characters specialize in certain elements, but others cast a wide net.
