Godzilla (ゴジラ Gojira) is a kaiju who first appeared in the 1955 Godzilla film Godzilla Raids Again.
This Godzilla is the most prolific version of the character, appearing in 14 films and a television series. He appeared less than a year after the previous Godzilla's demise, and was again a prehistoric sea creature roused and irradiated by nuclear testing
