In order to craft,brew,cook etc you have to be close to the apropriate bench (green in range,red out range) but you can browse the recipes from everywhere.

Working on some sprites and colliders for ground levels. You will also have the ability in-game to add/remove ground layers in later stages through the "contruct/build mechanism".
