I am a game developer and designer, with a particular focus on interactive, 3d multiplayer games. I believe that online virtual worlds will eventually become the new mode of global socialization, and this vision is reflected in my company name, Intraversal Digital MediaWorks.

I began seriously pursuing game development in early 2001 when I devised the concept of a "virtual nightclub", where DJs could livestream their sets and guests could interact directly within a Flash-based nightclub simulator. Needless to say the project as well ahead of its time, so I only amassed a small following of die hard fans. Most people weren't ready for avirtual clubbing experience 18 years ago. And also I found work as a resident DJ at two local bars. So in 2004, I abandoned the project but kept hold of the domain names.

Fast forward to 2017, and I got the urge to revive the nightclub project yet this time I wanted to make it completely independent of the Web. I researched several potential client-server platforms, before finally settling on Minetest as it provided a Lua scripting interface combined with a C++ backend on top of an open-source voxel-based 3d engine (Irrlicht). This meant that I would have full control over every aspect of the game's design, with no burdensome licensing restrictions.

From 2017 to 2019, I focused mostly on learning every aspect of the Minetest platform, including networking with other members of the community. I ended up running my own server and releasing over 50 mods for the engine:

Around April 2020, however, the pandemic struck. That is when I realized it was time to get serious about the prospects of the virtual nightclub during this "new normal" where everything was going virtual. I knew the oasis had arrived, and there as no better time to bring my #VirtualClubbing to the masses.

Energy drinks give you the power and magic you need to get crazy on the dancefloor! If you feel extra daring, then hop on stage and bust-a-move for all to see.

I finished work on a new sound propagation algorithm for my virtual nightclub. It adds a whole new dimension of realism and immersion.
