Hi, this is JJ.
I make electronic music and design and scuplt sounds.
I´ve been a dj and turntablist for more than 15 years now. I´ve been the Spanish manager for the ITF (International Turntablist Federation and later the IDA, Intl. Deejay Association) and one of the talent recruiters for the Redbull Music Academy. I put myself in the proffessional music scene since organizing the Spanish National Dj battles and one of the members of the ITF/IDA World Dj Battles. That was from 2002 until 2007 when I decided to quit as I wanted to focus on music production.
In 2010 I created Hasta La Vista Records label and formed an electronic music band called Blue Rhino along with a known female singer. I self produced and mastered our EP for the band and flew with it to Los Angeles to make the promotional work. Our work was included in the many times awarded shortfilm "Paraiso Beach".
After some discrepancies and opposed interests within the band I decided to leave the project behind and go on alone. So in 2013 I formed the one-man-band Seven Souls, open to collaborations with other artists and singers but keeping most of the creative process in my hands.
My work has been also included in shortfilms and in 2018 I got inmersed in the videogame indie scene as a musician and sound designer with some projects in the works. I´m always been a passionate video game player, both in retro and in new games and I find digital art and computer coding amazing.
