...uh, yeah, another Independent game developer here. I'm a writer and composer/musician by trade with far ranging interests (really out there, I guess).

Anyway, I've become enamored with creating video games and use a variety of diferent engines, creators and software to achieve my artistic vision (whatever that might happen to be at any given time). More often than not I like to play around with blending genres, concepts or mechanics and/or looking for ways to portray a certain aesthetic. To be honest, gameplay is infinitely more important to me as a developer than almost everything else. I'm a firm believer in the notion that with the right approach one can create experiences which are greater than the mere sum of their parts. For example, there are absolutely amazing games which utilize nothing more than 8-bit graphics and fully-detailed and realistic "flashy" games which are flat out terrible. It's all in how you use whatever it is that's available vs. how much work and worry you're willing to put into a project, right? Of course, within seemingly simple boundaries there lies vast oceans of possibilties...

I often like to utilize what I would refer to as "found" or "abandoned" media (aka. stuff no one wants to use or has forgotten about) in interesting ways. If you are an artist, programmer or have any particularly useful skills and would like to collaborate with me or join my team, by all means, feel free to contact me (the more "unique" or "weird" you are, the better).
