I started designing games clear back in 1978 when I got my first computer a Vic 20. It had 20kb of free memory and I designed games similar to pong for it. Then I got a Commodore 64 with a tape drive and thought I was really able to do some games. I made a game similar to Joust but only enough memory for one screen and two characters.

I kept designing as the tech improved and in college I wrote text adventure games and educational games and one of the first typing tutor programs before Mavis Beacon stole the market.

Now I am a semi-retired educator, writer and videographer with some time on my hands and I still enjoy playing games so I looked around and got the 001 game maker program with a license and I am working on my skills by submitting game ideas here on Game Jolt and other websites.

I know I will never compete with the multimillion dollar games but I hope to get a game that people really enjoy and I know how to market games and can build a following. If not- at least I had fun!
