Family is the strongest bond you could ever have. It’s a privilege, a want, and a responsibility. Family is one of the only things worth protecting. Yet, many desire to be separated from their family. Some even call home hell. That’s what I believe. Even if your family is perfect to a tee, one small tear and it will shred the whole image apart. A family can go from perfect to ruins in the matter of hours. But what causes that? I know what caused my family to be torn apart. It was because of me.

September 26th, 2000. The worst day of my life. The morning I found my parents dead, mangled beyond recognition. The morning everyone disappeared, or died violently. Poor souls. They couldn’t even see what tore them in two. During the night, it all spread like wildfire. The “virus”, I guess. No other way to put it. I still remember it like it was not even a day ago, even eight months later. Those images never left my mind. Now everything is in shambles. Because of this damn birth defect. This fucking tail….. I did all of this, so how the hell can I make amends with the thousands of lives I’ve unknowingly ruined? Nothing can bring back the dead, yet it may be better off that way if some are like how my father was.
