So- when it comes to- hypothetically speaking- Making an undertale au fangame? how would one go about that?

Undertale AU idea that I hope to make into a fangame! i'm currently starting! I've been messing with some ideas and some artwork, but this is just a basic outline for the opening of it! Got any ideas you want to share with me or constructive criticism?
