I think the bamboo planks are a HUGE missed opportunity. Currently, the wood types we have cover most of the rainbow, but there is a giant gap over the color green.

Mojang should really consider making the bamboo planks greener!

This may just be my favorite build I've done on my Flatworld. Not only is it pretty, but inside is a TNT-efficient fully automatic 4-Type tree farm, dirt-to-mud converter, and cobble farm.
