Hello, my name is Pip!

Who am I, and how do I relate to games?
I am a game designer, however I dabble in every part of game production from art to programming. Although, I'm terrible at music composition.. But, hey we can't be good at everything, else why would we need or want community.

What's my opinion on games as an art form?
I stand by the idea that games are art, they can express ideas, play with concepts, and change peoples opinions through a direct or in direct fashion with or without the intention of the creator and require a cirtain skill set and knowlage to accomplish.

What philosophies to I follow in Game Design
I follow a lot of the philosophy in game design found proposed by Mark Brown from game maker's tool kit, Nintendo and Valve. I also watch some extra credits, but I don't agree with some of they stuff they say, at least compared to Mark Brown.

What makes a Game, a Pip Game?
Well, I love to use low poly and pastel colours to give my games a minimalist look. A lot of the time I explore themes of calmness and cerenity but also solitude and melancholy. I love to use music that's atmospheric and fits in with the actions of the player.

However at the very core of my games I feel there's always a central idea which I'm trying to play around with, as of time of writting the only game I've posted is Aer, in which the central mechanich is moving things using the wind. However I don't feel like this is very unique to me, most designers try to explore and adhere to a central idea and I don't want to sound like I'm trying to claim it as my own thing.

What are my plans for the future?
Short term? Eat Breakfast.
Long term? Probably join or own a indie games company.

What's my favourite colour?
Red, Purple, Orange, Green (depending on the context), Pink.

What's my favourite idea?
Mine is thinking creativly.

How do I get an idea?
I just try to think creativly. Now let's take a look at this Orange..
(ok, I'll stop with that refrence.)

Favourite animal?
Do Ants count? if not then every animal except for snakes, they terrify me.
