Luke "SpacePirateCaine" Rideout worked for 5 years in the games industry in Japan as a producer and director under visionary game developers like Takuma Endo (Tenchu, Way of the Samurai) and Yu Suzuki (Shenmue, After Burner, Virtua Fighter) helping create wildly successful games such as the 2009 Wizardry series reboot, Akiba's Trip and the Class of Heroes series. He now has returned to his birthplace, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, working briefly at Frontier Developments, and now he is a lead designer at Alpha Dog Games.
He has been developing Independent projects since university, and still works on personal projects, where they don't interfere/conflict with his games work.
