Christopher Friend @SpazzNinja
I am a fifteen year old. I have been making games since I was around seven. I am currently making a game called Thorn The Ninja and also writing a storyline for a game I will make after getting out of college. I plan to make a B-line directly into the gaming industry. I am fine with this free game site for now because I have no training and barely any talent. If I tried to sell my games, I would be one broke white guy. I have been playing games since I could figure out how to hold a controller, and I have had a passion to make them since. All of my brothers had the passion, but grew out of it.
I am a spiritual person and feel like the purpose of my life is to help people. I feel like I can help people with games. I would sneak in some therapy and some happiness technuiques in my games. I would find the most common dilemmas in my target age groups life, and direct the main character of my games through the same problems. That character would find many solutions to his problem, or problems, and choose the best solution and then succeed in his life.
Two possible outcomes may emerge:
My aspiration is that the age group will make the beneficial decesions in their life to grow to be better people.
My fear is that the games will only remind the players of their life and they will not play through to the final decision. So they will only be more depressed of their dilemmas.
The games that I want to work on in the future are RPGs. I have played around with RPG maker 2003 and have the desire to buy RPG XP. I made a really interesting game but it got deleted and I gave up on RPG maker temporarily.
Overall I will be making games for the rest of my life.In the future I will enroll in fullsail online college, and live by myself so I have more freetime to make games. Of coarse this may change and I may do something completely different with my life, but for now my passion lies with games.
