I'm a 48 year old tech-junkie that got my first fix at 13. Back then, there were five major players competing in the video gaming industry. Atari, Nintendo, Sega, Intelli-Vision and Coleco-Vision. I chose the Coleco-Vision because it had modules that plugged into the main unit to play a specific game 'arcade-style'. I had them all; the steering wheel for the racecar game, the 'roller-controller' for Slither, and so on. The largest ( and most expensive ) module was the Adam Computer, which my mom couldn't afford until Princess Auto sold a kit that required assembly for a fraction of the price. Ever since that Christmas, I was hooked. Adam was built and running in under 2 hours. 35 years later, here I sit in front of a computer telling this story...some things never change.
