The Battle of Polytopia is a turn-based strategy (4X-style) game where you control a small tribe and try to build it into a powerful empire on a randomly generated world.
You start with a single city and explore the map, gather resources, research technologies, and build units to expand your territory. As you grow, you can either defeat all other tribes or aim for a high score depending on the game mode.
The game is known for being simple and easy to learn but still strategic, with different tribes (like Bardur or Xin-xi) that each have small unique traits. It can be played solo against AI or in multiplayer with other players, making each match feel different because of the random maps and different strategies.
In short: it’s like a “mini Civilization” game with a clean, fast-paced style focused on expanding, fighting, and smart planning.

I am currently super sick so I wont be posting the Unit of the day, maybe ill do unit of the week but I am unable to continue this, j will be taking a break for a couple days and then go back to posting

Unit of the day #3: Warrior
Cheap, dependable, expendable, what more could you ask in a soldier! Warriors are fearless and aren't willing to whack you if you get in their way, a platoon of warriors could siege a city in a couple days!
Unit of the day #2: Archer
Archers are a long range unit (1 tile expansion) the Archers are great for picking off enemy's without really getting your own soldiers hurt.
A good example are the Yorthwober, they can probably sniper you from 2 forests away...
UNIT OF THE DAY #1: Cloak
They incite Riots and steal the city's income for the turn.
An example was during the Imperius civil war when city states fought eachother Suptemus was the first to use Cloaks defeating Lusica, Suptemus is now the empires capital
The giant bugs of the Cymantini Forest would be dangerous to everyone if it werent for the diligent work of their handlers? Particular Cymanti are chosen to lead packs of Hexapods, Kitons, Phychi and so forth, using Ciru Bugs to issue their pack commands.
