The new engine is almost ready. That and speedrun mode will be coming out TOMORROW (or today if spacey is a speedy boi) so get ready for reduced visual glitches, improved performance, clear text, pixel-aligned animations, and glorious speedruns!
Addendum: The speedrun mode will also give you a quick option to fully reset the game's SAVE data.
The next update to the demo will include a SPEEDRUN mode. When enabled, completing the game will display your time, down to the frame. This timer won't be vulnerable to lag as it will run inside the game. I'm excited to see what kinda times people post!
So, I made a pre-release task list of all the leftover things I need to do to be ready for release. That list started with 15 items on it. As of today, it's down to 13.
