Im a 32 year old mom, whos son is insanely good at almost all and any video game he does play. I do this for him and him only. I tried getting him into sports, Baseball in particular, which he was extremely good at and excelled faster than any other child ive ever seen.His first year playing he won the All Star Game and also at a fundraiser hit a ball through a little hole, it was about 6 inches in diameter drilled out of a piece of plywood,painted like a target, about 10 yards, maybe a bit further, away. And he did this TWICE out of 10 hits. (any child to make it through would win 100.00. He won $200.00 that day and there was only one other kid who made it in. 2 kids out of 500+ ranging from ages 4 to 13. That tells you....it wasnt an easy thing to do. lol i didnt think he was going to and im the one person in the world who should think that he could make it but im a realist lol . My boy could hit a ball further than the farthest fence and had crazy accuracy. but ANYWAY! His NERD shined brighter than the little bit of jock in him and now if I want to spend quality time with him i had to learn (mostly by watching youtube videos)how to play the games he plays ....but it doesnt stop there. I had to practice and play enough to kick his little butt in the video game. :) He LOOOOVES to make everything very competitive and i got sick and tired of loosing so...voila! I am now a proud momma. "Kicker of butt in gaming!"..........okay not entirely true...i win sometimes. no thats not true either....ugh! I win, when he lets me win okay!?
:) hey its the effort im putting in to making my little happy that matters right? okay that's "about me" when it comes to the world of the gaming and the internets. :) im old,...thats how old people say it, i think.
