Hello my dear friends,
Hello dear Game Jolt Community,
My name is David, but you can just call me Dave.
I am a child from the 80s and until today everything about computers and game consoles fascinates me.
For that I thank my dad who helped and taught me everything about computers because of his own fascination.
I quickly discovered my passion and enthusiasm for the development and creation of these works of Art.
I learned myself programming, the first steps I had was on my Amiga.
A Commodore 64 followed and was rounded off with an IBM PC.
My main reason for the passion are video games, because they inspire, excite and entertain me. I'm sure you're familiar with that, assuming you play video games.
I remember my favourite game Half-Life from Valve. For that game, it was possible to create your own mods. So it was possible that maps or worlds could be created with the Hammer Editor, so I gained experience in game design/level design.
After many experiments in game development, reading technical literature and trying it out myself, I was able to gain more and more experience and broaden my horizon a little bit more.
In the meantime many small games have been created, some with their own frameworks and engines, much of which unfortunately remained only a prototype.
For the development my energy and power is a quote from Samuel Barclay Beckett:
Always tried. Always fails. It doesn't matter. Tried again. Failed again. Better failed.
Today ClawBytes is the real sandbox for experiments.
No, still no own real office or own company building and/or enterprise, with the office and/or company building only my computer is meant.
In the future, if the projects should be successful, also an enterprise in an office or company building will hopefully become possible.
With a lot of coffee, tea or cola I often work on projects after the work.
With a lot of love and support from my wife, my son and my daughter, it is possible to do many experiments in game development, where I still learn a lot today and have a lot of fun.
Thank you my three angels for that.
Thank you very much for reading this,
Dave
