Wow, it’s kind of nuts how a redraw of a character can look radically different.
I feel like I did a pretty good job of capturing a Sierra look-and-feel for the second sprite. Anyway, here’s my sad fisherman.
Decided to dust this off and try to add a little bit more animation to my characters. Even with just two colors and simple shapes, animation can be super challenging sometimes.
One thing I want to get better at with #gamedev is handling burnout. I alternate between 5 game projects; I can't focus on just one for very long. Sometimes I make huge progress due to hyperfocus, but it feels like everything is on the back-burner.
Trying out GameJolt. Maybe this will inspire me to make use of the Adventure Game Studio web engine port? Might be fun to put some bite-sized projects up.
