I am a software / game programmer from Magdeburg, Germany. Currently I am finishing my bachelors degree of computer science at the Otto von Guericke University and since 2009 I work at Volkswagen where I currently prototype, develop and test driver assist systems. Coding is not only my profession but also my passion, in my free time I like to delve into game design and development, some of my projects are showcased below. I enjoy prototyping small concepts and sometimes just roam around with ideas. Language of my choice would be C#, but I am also proficient in Java, other C-type languages, Haskell, Erlang, Prolog and some other languages. This choice of languages already gives my passion for functional programming away. The understanding of underlying concepts allows me to pick up new languages / patterns quite fast and I consider this as one of my core strengths as programmer. Regarding game development I have worked with Microsoft XNA for several years and developed games for desktop and windows phones. After the downfall of this magnificient framework I contributed to the ANX framework and switched to UDK and Unity for personal projects. Currently I am essentially using Unity and tinkering around with Processing 2.0 for some quick prototyping. My personal 'hot topic' is procedural content generation in all its facets.
