Gaetano Leonardi (visual art): Soon after returning to Italy in the late 90's, Gaetano's artwork services were in high demand, having provided art for most national newspapers such as La Repubblica, Il Manifesto, Carta, Cuore, Alias, and Il Riformista. His focus was initially illustration and graphic design, but his growing interest in storytelling and movie direction soon led him comfortably into the world of graphic novels, and his first book, "La Nuit a Midi", was published by German editor PPI. In the midst of all this, Gaetano was teaching Art Direction as part of IED's communications unit, as well as utilizing his unique style to develop advertising campaigns and TV openings for national television companies such as Rai, Mediaset, La7, and Sky. He has received the prestigious Golden Prize by the IADC (Italian art Art Director Club) and was also chosen as a candidate for the ADI (Italian Industrial Design) award.
