Hi!
I'm Christina, mom to three wonderful babies, Monkey, Panda, and Mini Me. I am also Mike's loving but sometimes grumpy wife. We have five furry critters, Chewy, Tinkerbell, Smokey, Sugar and Tommy, who are actually temperamental furry kids in cahoots with humans. Together they create havoc and provide much of our entertainment. I was once a teacher and also worked in customer service. Now I'm a busy mom and writer. But sometimes I stop by at video chat with girls free. When I'm not driving the kids or doing laundry, I read, journal, browse garage sales and do needlework. My friends call me Chatterbox, hence the name Mrs. Chatterbox. Glad you're here! :)
We officially entered summer in four days, and we love sleeping in and spending time in our pajamas. Well, some of us do. I mean, I haven't had a chance to sleep at home or stay in my pajamas all day yet, but I'm sure it will happen soon. It might.
Anyway.
The kids were going over our wish list and trying to decide what to do first. I kind of stepped into the decision-making process when I was in and found a huge package of marshmallows that screamed my name. Of course, marshmallows, chocolate and crackers can only mean one thing. Since making marshmallows was already on our list, I broke down and bought these bad boys. The kids loved that the marshmallows were so huge and they were thrilled when they saw them. And really, if you were a kid, wouldn't you enjoy making and then eating a huge marshmallow filling
I'm not even a kid, but I couldn't wait.
Since we don't have school, I thought cooking might be a little educational culinary experiment. At least that's how I convinced myself that 11:30 a.m. was a good thing.
So there you go!
We took jumbo marshmallows and regular marshmallows and photographed them side by side while lying down as well as standing up. FYI, the jumbo marshmallow was much heavier and larger than the regular marshmallow.
