what will you do when your skin rots off?
when the ground beneath you shakes and forces your legs to crumble in shame?
when you become nothing but a passing leaf in the winter breeze?
when you are nothing but a rotted wood loft?
what if the earth falls apart by its tectonically plated crust?
when the code is the only thing that makes you a person?
you will become nothing.
and nothing again.
and nothing,
until you are but a smidge of star dust in our sky.
The universe was never deciding for you,
you only decided yourself.
Fate is always predetermined, and your death will never change.
You can be anything along the way, but what’s the point if you are nothing in the end? If you are just dust?
you are the stars, and the stars are dead.
and when the stars die, you will too.
and so will i.
and then we’ll die.
