Shmup ‘Em Up in 2023! I love and enjoy the classic arcade games, with Soace Invaders as my first OG arcade game I ever played and fell in love with it! Galaga, Dragon Spirit, Xevious through R-Type and Gradius in the 1990’s! As Shmups and STG games progressed with developers such as Toaplan and Cave Co. Ltd hitting the arcades, I enjoyed the adrenaline pumping action as I learned to play the “bullet hell” Shmups. A love of the retro games, another favorite in addition to the STG games is the Castlevania series, especially Symphony of the Night! !
