Someone please explain what bob ross is doing in the back of my quarter?

I saw this picture of one of my favorite anime characters online so I decided to work on my rusty drawing skills and draw it. Please note I'm still a little rusty and haven't done a single drawing in years so don't be to harsh on me.

What do you all think about my drawing skills?

I know this isn't pokemon related but what do you all think of my drawing? Also leave a comment on what I should draw next.

My last drawing was not a pokemon. So I hope I can make up for it with this.
