Is it intentional for attacks to not get blocked sometimes by enemies with are higher LV?

I saw that Pacifist and Genocide Routes are getting added, but i've spared and killed enemies. Is it still possible to get the Pacifist and Genocide route, or do i have to reset?

Is it just me or the PvP battle sprites be lookin' kinda T H I C C .
