The Slaughter Trail is a 2D horror survival experience set in Creekline, West Virginia, during the late 1990s. Players follow Laura Wexler, a law student drawn into the haunted legacy of Hollowpoint Sanitarium, a place tied to her missing father, Dr. Nathan Wexler.

Alongside her friends — Mya Harper, Drew McDaniels, and Lydia Steinman — Laura must unravel the truth buried deep in the asylum’s twisted halls. Each character has their own personal mission that explores their fears, strengths, and connections to the asylum. Through these missions, players can discover hidden tapes that reveal chilling secrets from the sanitarium’s past.

As the nightmare deepens, Laura is forced to confront not just the truth about her father, but his corrupted soul — now a relentless force haunting Hollowpoint itself.
