yo it's been a month since the last post so thought i'd update. stuff is going pretty well, can't share much because i'm adding an NDA to the developers (including yours truly) so yeah.

but we have coded the base game, all that's left is design and art

we made an alpha theme for the first region, it's on the game page now :)

we made a placeholder player sprite, we call him goober.
