This might be a little typical, but I have to say my favorite is one of the new ones from Super Mario Bros. Wonder, the Elephant Fruit. Just neat to hear the characters shout out "Wowie Zowie!" and just get all big and powerful and stuff!
My very first console, believe it or not, was the original Nintendo Entertainment System, though because my first game request was The Legend of Zelda, my mom bought me an NES that came with The Official Nintendo Strategy Guide!
Who's my favorite sidekick? I mean, I've had so many when it comes to video games (Tails, Snot, Mario [Luigi player here]), but I think for my favorite it's gotta be Lieutenant Robin "Flint" Peters-Blair, Wing Commander III: Heart of the Tiger!
