We — Jasper Meiners and Isabel Paehr — work together as Topicbird, a two-humans-one-spider studio based in Kassel, Germany. We make playful art, a mess and meshes, games, unexecutable or unexcusable code. Isabel designs/writes/codes to invent material practices that question dichotomies like real and virtual. Jasper is sampling surfaces from different contexts to imitate, manipulate and recontextualize them.
