I'm creating games for the OUYA. The OUYA is a little cube for the TV that has some limitations. It runs a unique version of Android 4.1, and the built-in graphic chip only supports Open GL ES 2.0. But I'm fine with that. This device supports some game controllers like the Xbox 360 wired controller for Windows and others. For development, I use App Game Kit, Flash Professional CS6, Unity, Unreal, Godot 3.2 and some creative software like Photoshop CS6, Affinity Designer, Spine and Spriter. For video editing I'm using DaVinci Resolve.
About me: I'm an IT consultant. I worked for the government and helped with implementation of administrative software by the big three blue letter company. I've also been a professional photographer for more than ten years. I've been a programmer since I was six years old. I made my first complete game at the age of 14 for a school project. I love to draw and take pictures. I like to be creative and have fun. I feel like a composer and story teller sometimes. It could be that I have Asperger's, but who cares?
The reason for me to develop for the OUYA is to go against the fast moving world, where we buy something and throw it away in a matter of moments. The OUYA was my first real console. As a kid I dreamed about having a Mega Drive, but I guess, I had a bike to ride, good weather, and friends of mine had one, so there was no sadness in my childhood. I don't know what the future will bring us with streaming and always online. My games are still usable if the cord is cut. Not every kind of games needs the newest hardware. It is also a matter of energy consumption and sustainability to protect mother nature and the environment.
My long-term goal is it to provide a sustainable company with health insurance, retirement arrangement and no fear of burn out for my employees. To achieve this, the games we create are not restricted to the OUYA. With the OUYA as target platform it would be possible to also provide playable games for the Raspberry Pi 3 and some of these Classic Mini consoles, for example. So not only are "new" games for the OUYA are possible, but also for SBC and tinker boards. Maybe also the Intellivision® Amico.

I'm fixing bugs and adding some options to improve the game's fluidity on low range devices. Next step is improving the AI. Please, keep on sending feedback, guys! We're gonna make this lightning strike!
