Hey can anyone tell me why after hours of work blender crashes right when im about to click the save button? the save button litteraly crashes blender so i have no way to save anything without losing it

How do I stop blender from deleting my files???
Like every time I open blender, and I click on one of the files, it says something like "Missing DNA Block" Like TF????????
