I checked on my other save for what quest I was missing and it was “Growing Stronger” despite already having leveled up my Energy multiple times already, what might have happened? EDIT: DISREGARD, THEY WERE JUST OUT OF ORDER!!!

If you are near the entrance/exit to a room while getting a battle and happen to get a corruption battle after, holding a direction(towards the previously stated entrance/exit) will make you leave the room. (More in article)

I guess what happened was yesterday at one point I went to the papyrus minigame where you have to click to get coins, but to make more clicks quickly I pressed enter and z many times to make more clicks, i don't use autoclicker :(
