I tried to copy a pose from an IDW comic, how did it turn out?

I searched up Cthulhu to find a reference image, saw that Cthulhu looks badass but also complicated to draw/recreate, so I just made this instead! 
The lil' squid boi may look adorable, but he's actually most wanted in Germany.
