Alright, Subnautica 2 opens up just fine on my ROG Xbox Ally and PC, only problem is they both ran like shit even on the lowest settings... 
So, Subnautica 2 has boot up issues on steam deck... wonderful 
I'll just download it on my xbox ally when I get home, see how that goes.
