Anime shouldn't have become mainstream. There are far too many toxic anime "fans" (tourists) around complaining about everything that gives anime uniqueness compared to other forms of media.
Corporations need to stop forcing their ideologies on Japan just to force them to self-censor their own content. Down with censorship on anime, manga, video games, and other forms of Japanese media!
