Turns out there was also an issue with the NEW 64-bit version, this time with it not being able to use your previous save data. This issue should be fixed now, and hopefully no more new ones arise.
Again, apologies for any inconveniences caused by this.
There were some issues with the latest 64-bit Windows version crashing on startup, it should be fixed now.
Apologies to anyone that wasn't able to run the game before.

I just checked, and I need a game mod to get it up and running. I don't know about you guys, but I think this would be an interesting game to do a speedrun of.
