Rules
The website guidelines apply.
Do not post AI or NSFW stuff
For obvious reasons.
Post in the correct channel
Posting your animation in the incorrect category will only have your post moved to the correct one, this is just to keep the mediums organized.
If you have doubts, check above on "Where to post"
The works you share must be yours (unless its a discussion in general)
While general is meant to discuss anything related to animation, the animations you post in the rest of the channels must be YOURS, if it's a collaboration then credit the people who worked on it too.
Not a rule, but it's encouraged to tell what program you used to make your animation! (Unless it's stopmotion)

Where to learn
There's many options to learning animation. Many tutorials are avaliable on YouTube completelly for free (unless they sponsor some paid course, I guess).
Every animator should watch this one at least. Very important.
You can also resort to learning it through books. A very good one is Richard Williams's "The Animator's Survival Kit". I myself bought it (the expanded edition one).
If you really want to lean into animation as a career choice, you can go to an university that has an animation course.
You DON'T NEED a degree to pursue animation, but it's a good excuse if you want to delay employment!!! /hj
