The penultimate 1-bit Metroid of 2021 I have to share is the Zeta Metroid from the 3DS remake (I preferred the Alien style of the remake more
).
I would like to revisit this one though as there's a lot I would do differently now.

A little repost for #SonicFriday of my mockup of Sonic the Hedgehog as it might appear on the Gameboy using @/AnubiArts AGB palette.
I don’t think the GB could handle the speed of Sonic, but who knows. 🤷♂️

I decided to try a 1-bit nebula again (I tried a couple of years ago 😬) and I was really pleased with how it came out, so I expanded it into a full piece.
I’ve also made these into free phone wallpapers on my Ko-fi page (link in article). 
111I surprisingly looped this perfectly on the first try! Also, his name is officially Lucian; which stems from the latin word for light. Fitting him into Undertale, I'd feel he'd be a good royal guardsman. (the BG was a placeholder lol)
