FCS team Sacramento State will join the MAC Conference for football only next season, making a jump from FCS to FBS. They won 4 conference championships in their time during FCS. They also made 4 FCS Playoff appearances.
FCS powerhouse North Dakota State is officially joining the FBS, joining the Mountain West Conference next season. They won ten FCS National Championships between 2011 and 2025, along with eight D2 National Championships before moving to FCS.
