Summer Jam
Welcome to the IGDA Sweden 2021 Summer Game Jam!
It's summer time! And we're all ready for a good long break. But game developers never really take breaks, do we? So IGDA Sweden has decided to organise our first Summer Jam - where you'll have 1 Month to develop a game that fits the assigned theme!
This year's theme will be announced on the 25th of June, CEST 5pm. We will be having a Live Stream with Kate Edwards from Global Game Jam at the time as well. Links will be provided here, as well as the community feed on 23rd June.
Submissions open on the 25th of June 2021, and end on the 9th of August .
Voting begins once the submissions close, and ends on the 23rd of August. Winners will be announced on the 25th of August.

There are 2 Main Categories with sub-categories that you can submit your game under.
Rookies :
For developers with less than 12 months of work experience
Sub-Categories : Rookies Mobile, Rookies PC / Console
Veterans :
For developers with more than 12 months of work experience
Sub-Categories : Veterans Mobile, Veterans PC / Console
Voting & Prizes:
Voting & Judging of submissions will begin on the 10th of August, and end on the 23rd of August, and winners will be announced on the 25th of August CEST 530pm.

The winners in the PC / Console category will get a free consultation with Dimoso to brush up on the pitch and presentation, as well as a chance to pitch their game to SEGA, Riot Forge, Square Enix and Paradox Interactive
Rookies - 1st , 2nd & 3rd
Veterans - 1st, 2nd & 3rd
Mobile
The winners in the Mobile category will get a free consultation with Dimoso to brush up on the pitch and presentation, as well as a chance to pitch their game to Super Evil Megacorp, Paradox Interactive, Kwalee, Square Enix and Boombit.
