It’s birb’s molting season, their old feathers come off and new ones grow

The spike like things on her head are the new feathers, they are covered by a plastic like filament, the feathers grow out of it eventually

Day3 outside for Tree6/7/8/9

8 went back into the dirt a bit and 9 is still not showing her self
