How I served my kids dinner tonight. They found it fun. (Its throw night).
Accidentally left to pick Seb up from nursery 30 minutes early so instead of turning up early, I've stopped en route for a delicious Bacon Cheeseburger

Let's make homemade instant potatoes.
Bake, peel, mash, put in trays roughly 2 pounds per tray. 5 trays. 10 lbs of mashed potatoes cakes lol. Now they are freezing before going in the freeze dryer.
Ever wondered how instant potatoes were made?
Today I start processing 50 lbs of potatoes to freeze dry into instant potatoes flakes.
How many cups do you think 50 lbs of potatoes will turn into once cooked, frozen, freeze dried and powdered?
These are so fun. I have a jar of the nerds that fall off during the process and those are my favorite. My youngest loves these, so do her friends.
Freeze dried marshmallows. I love a good freeze dried marshmallow but these are 1/10 no flavor. Good in hot chocolate tho!
Freeze dried broccoli makes excellent soup! I also add it to rice, stews ECT. I prefer to powder it, hidden veggies for my kids 🤣. 10/10
Solid 1.5/10. It could be made into a powder and used in some creative ways but absolutely not for us..🤢 was fun tho..
