Working on some #RPG menu systems for an upcoming #GameBoy game 'Leopold Kills a God." Crazy amounts of scripting to get this to work, but it has been tons of fun and is finally starting to come together!

Ever wondered how devs measure performance on real a NES, which has no dev kit? A common way is the change the "color emphasis" while an operation is executing, during rendering. This effectively draws colored bars representing how long something takes.

Putting together the first bits of my vertical screen transitions on the NES. This will be similar to Mega Man, with smooth horizontal scrolling but vertical transitions will always happen at 1 screen high.

I love making custom controllers. Mostly GameCube and Switch Pro Controller. But started doing N64. Next is my NES dogbone and the one for my kiddo!
